Call for Presenters

Join HMASTDThrough exceptional learning and performance we create a world that works better.

This is the mission of ASTD and we invite you to partner  with us in this mission to bring superior quality education to our learners. This means submitting proposals to build core skills, share best practices and innovations, and lead the way on trends. Most of all, this means submitting proposals that are learner-focused and ensuring that each session is a learning experience with application to the participant’s work.

Our peer education program and the topics for submission should concentrate on the ASTD Competency Model shown below.

CFP’s for our annual workplace learning & performance conference can be found on the conference page

If you are an experienced trainer who would like to share your expertise with the Hudson-Mohawk ASTD, we invite you to submit a brief summary of your training program for our upcoming calendar year. Our monthly programs run 60 minutes in length. We also run some longer special programs during our Trainers’ Conference and special half-day events.

Please fill out our Request for Presenters and submit to Nancy Reilly, Chapter Administrator, by either emailing it to her at info@hudsonmohawkastd.org or mailing it to 154 Wormer Road, Voorheesville, NY 12186. If you have questions, call Nancy at 518.765.4080. We will contact you to let you know whether the Program Committee has selected your program.

Please note that if you are selected to present, you will be asked to provide a photo to be used on our website. The photo you submit to Nancy need not be pre-sized as we will work with it to fit our requirements. To be specific, your picture will be proportionately reduced in size so that its longer side will be no larger than 100px, ergo a head-shot is much better than an “in situ” shot, so please plan accordingly.

For your proposal, please specify a target audience from the list of options that have been tied to the Areas of Expertise in the ASTD Competency Model. The grid below will also help you identify the competencies and target audiences.
